Hi,

just wondering if in the future the Linux binaries for the very good Mokka will
also be done...

Davide

Dear Davide,

Some people already compiled Mokka under Linux with success. On my side, I
never proposed any binary because I don't have Linux installed on my computer
natively. I had Linux using a virtualization software but certainly due to some
issue with the graphic card, I had graphic glitches in 3D views. As I didn't
know what was the source of the glitches I preferred to not package Mokka under
Linux. I always imagined to find a contributor who can compile Mokka under
Linux and package it correctly (.deb/.rpm), but this never happened. I could do
some new attempts for the next release of Mokka, but I don't know exactly when
this version will be released due to the major modifications in the code to
support video overlay as well as the Python console. I will send a message on
the mailing list to clarify the development for the next months.

Regards,

Arnaud

Ok, fast & clear. And if people were able to compile it on their own without
problems, than it is ok.

Davide
