picasa cannot regconize the GPS tag #112

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. synchronized the pics
2. browser with picasa 3.8
3. the places icon didn't appears.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

see the places icon

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

1.28 win 7

With Picasa 3.9 On Win 7 with GpicSync 1.29 I have not problems with Picassa 
recognising the GPS files
