The API specification 2.0 of the Cloud Signature Consortium introduces a modern standard for interfacing with providers of digital signatures
By supporting this API it will be possible to offer eIDAS AES (Advanced Electronic Signatures) through Documenso by relying on third party signing providers
As the CSC API 2.0 specification is expected to be supported by a wide range of singing providers, hosters won't be locked into one provider as it would be easy to switch to another provider
CSC API V2.0 Support wil be implemented as part of a general signing provider architecture that will allow to choose between different modes of signing by configuration alone
Third party signing will be usable alongside "native" Documenso signing using a local certificate
Other modules support more signing providers are possible
