Hi,

Thanks for this very useful component. I have a question, what unquotable is it for? Does there is a way to have a placeholder on the searchbox?

A placeholder as an option would make a great pull request. Unquotable menas that the unquotable category will not have quotes around it. This example has state as an unquotable:

country: "United States" state: California

Although you probably don't want state as an unquotable, since New York belongs in quotes. If the category is not in unquotable, then it will get wrapped in quotes, even if it's a single word.
