LS470W+ GPS does not work in Russia #4

Russian customer says that all the LS470W+ have the same problem that GPS does not work in Russia, they’ve sent one unit back to us before but there is no problem in our test, customer feel that it might be the GPS regional blocking issue and please discuss with RD to see if we can find the solution.

Updates: Looking into this problem and still looks weird. The hardware seems fine and works normally. RD is comparing the codes between the LS460W video you sent me with the LS470W+. See if we can find out what is wrong with LS470W+

not yet, should arrive this week.

Got the unit, I will tested and compare to LS465W, our WORST gps model, then I will provide this unit to Jeremy/RD for other analysis.

Turned out to be sat issue...conventional "GPS" mode no longer works, its been blocked by government, solution in discussion

Please discuss with RD to see if it can be improved by FW update, as still it's strange that only LS470W+ has such problem, while LS470W has the same module and programming. incomplete firmware might be the root cause?
