I'm a beginner C# developer, but have a lot of experience in a few other languages, and would be glad to lend a hand where needed.
For example, creating a dashboard for the mod, when WCF is done.
What would you like to put in such a dashboard? I'm about at the point I want to start working on the WCF code, now, and it makes the most sense to start with things that people actually want. Please post your thoughts over in #4
I would like to help. If you're willing to do a bit of teaching an answer a lot of stupid questions. I have C/C++ experience (not game development though), as well as assembly and a bunch of scripting languages. I've wanted to look in to C# for a while now and this seems like as good a time as any.
Also, I can contribute a lot in the way of server hardware. If you need a dedicated dev server or something let me know.
Hit me up via email. You can find my email in the commit history, through your favorite git client.
I have set up an organization, now, so that people can work on the same repository. https://github.com/SEServerExtender
I'll leave this issue open just for visibility.
Work hit me with a sledge hammer, I'll get setup as soon as I'm able. On Mar 21, 2015 11:35 AM, "dodexahedron" notifications@github.com wrote:

This project could use a couple more hands. I'm certainly happy to keep up the work I'm doing, as well as the improvements that I have planned for the future, but this can be so much more with a little participation from more members of the community.
If anyone has c# experience (doesn't have to be game-related), and is interested in lending a hand to the project in any way, no matter how small, please don't hesitate to speak up here.
One of my main concerns is the current organization of the project, which is individual contributors on individual forks. That isn't long-term sustainable and the merge headaches will only continue to grow with each release.
Don't get me wrong - the project is not in trouble. Quite the contrary - it's in better shape now than it has been for a while. It could just GREATLY benefit from some additional help.
