sanoid has some functionality to support monitoring by nagios.

Sanoid.net is planned to implement that, but in a way that can be extended for use with other monitoring systems.

The first release, however, will only have built-in support for the same nagios-based monitoring that PERL sanoid currently has.

I'll be getting to this soon.

I am assuming that the majority of users do not use this functionality, so I'm focusing on packaging a beta release for general testing without this feature, right now.
