Hello, is the source-filter NMF used here to extract the fundamental frequency (F0)? How does source-filter NMF combine with neural networks?

Hi,

The source-filter NMF is used to estimate an initial salience representation as a preprocessing of the CRNN network. We keep the activation of excitation part as the initial salience. You can see the details from the related paper, you can find it in the following link,
