Ok. So others are absolutely voicing privacy concerns and I can really, really see why this would upset a broad swath of people if it existed on the dogecoin site. So after taking the temperature imma have to say no, we dont want location information on the dogecoin.com site. I know there are other things going on as far as your personal site goes @qlpqlp but i think most node runners do not want an easy-button display of their even rough location.

May I suggest that this be replaced with simple statistics: number of current nodes, version count, without any "PII", that being, no IPs, no locations. Just aggregated statistics would be nice to have. If you can resubmit parts of this, that comply to that limit, then we'll look at it again, but this makes people feel uneasy and dogecoin.com shouldn't be a part of that.

I currently only see circles containing number of nodes, one circle per country. Used to see nodes dispersed throughout cities. Worthless without seeing nodes dispersed through cities. Don't operate a full node if it's illegal. How about an option to share or not to share node location publicly, in the full node app? (Similar to Ambient weather stations).
