Hey @ponderingdemocritus , can I be assigned this issue please? I’m available to work. I’m a full-stack blockchain developer and a documentarian. Below is the link to one of the articles I’ve written https://yakihonne.com/article/naddr1qvzqqqr4gupzp3qkt560papqkywupyh8er28vp02ur85gk2m2wetu49muqe7l3dmqq2ks4e3v3mxycnsde3yy4z3242xjhmy2amj6fzfwym

I am applying to this issue via OnlyDust platform.

My background and how it can be leveraged

I am relatively new to the open source world but have substantial professional experience in software development. I have worked on a few projects involving web3-blockchain technologies. My technical background includes proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Typescript, and Javascript (still learning Cairo), which are essential for understanding and enhancing technical documentation. Additionally, I am currently pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering at the Technological Institute of Costa Rica (ITCR). This academic background provides me with a strong foundation in computer science principles and methodologies, which I can apply to effectively improve complex documentation. I see this issue as an excellent opportunity to leverage my skills and contribute meaningfully to the open-source community.

How I plan on tackling this issue

First, I'd dive deep into the current documentation for Katana's forking feature. I want to fully grasp how it's currently explained and gather user feedback to spot any confusion or missing info. Next, I'd focus on making the documentation clearer and easier to understand. I'll simplify the steps and add practical examples so developers can implement forking without hassle. I might also throw in some diagrams and code snippets to visually and practically explain how it all works. To stay ahead, I'd mention any upcoming features and talk about the current limitations of the feature. I want to make sure users have all the info they need to effectively use forking. In a nutshell, my aim is to improve the documentation so it's helpful and straightforward for developers keen on using forking in Katana.
