Can't drag & drop images or folders #1

Image files or folders can't be imported using the Open button, they need to be dragged and dropped onto the application window. This is not working. Any workarounds?

I havent seen this myself. What are the versions of OSX, wine-skin winery, and AS!2 ?

shrx commented 9 years ago

OSX: 10.10.2 (14C109) wineskin winery: 1.7.35 wrapper: 2.6.0 AutoStakkert!: 2.5.1.6 (also tried with 2.3.0.21)

Im using OSX 10.10.2 Wineskin winery 1.7 Wrapper 2-5-12 Autostakkert 2.1.0.5

shrx commented 9 years ago

Tried with AutoStakkert! 2.1.0.5, no change.

Hmm, I just tried with 2.5.1.6 and I was able to process a ser file. The only other difference may be the wrapper version. Another thing is the "screen options" under advanced. Select 'Use Mac Driver insdead of X11'. Could be worth playing with other settings in here too.

shrx commented 9 years ago

What is a ser file? I have a folder with tiff images. I will try with the older wrapper next.

dokeeffe commented 9 years ago

An ser file is a raw video file format from firecapture. Its supposed to be better than avi. I generally record planetery images as ser videos and then process in AS2!. Actually I havent tried tiff images at all with it. I'm not sure if it can do that but I could be wrong.

shrx commented 9 years ago

If you hover the mouse over the Open button it displays a tooltip that you can drag folders or image files onto that button to import them. This is not working for me. Importing videos works.

Ah ok, actually I just tried and have the same issue... I havent tried this with a windows machine to see if its a bug in AS2! Will try tomorrow. (No windows machine at the moment). Sorry for the misunderstanding. I had no idea you could use it for image stacking too :-)

shrx commented 9 years ago

For the record, using wrapper 2.5.12 does not fix the issue.

I can confirm this bug with wrapper 2.6.0. I have a tif based workflow so this is a killer.

@dokeeffe have you tried it with a windows machine?
