For some reason, it took a while before the DOKKU_SOCK_PATH became available and as such, the chmod was failing.

+1 same here, seems creating the lock file is sllooowwww. Raise the sleep time or signal systemd in a proper way when the deamon is ready.

@sarendsen if you know how to give systemd a signal properly, I'm all ears :)
