Have you tried these steps? Nothing showing.

Is there already an open topic for this issue?

Please include the following information.

Your Issue: After the tool finishes successfully and I reboot the system the Wi-Fi and bluetooth are not detected at all. I only get grey icons with x on them. The OS is patched version with patcher for macOS Sierra so it only patches the SupportedMachines.dist and other files.

Steps done to try to fix the issue:Using Kext Utility to reinstall IOBluetoothFamily.kext and IO80211Family.kext and also PRAM reset but then the continuity won't work, its like never been installed. screen shot 2016-09-07 at 01 16 07

I have the same MacBook, and I also was unable to get it to boot. It would just hang after a certain time.

This problem was also present under 10.11. I haven't received any replies that point to why it's not possible.

Same as pieter91, all looks good with dongle but won't boot anymore and gets stuck in bootloading screen...

Similar problem here: I tried installing it AFTER i had upgraded to MacOS (Sierra) using dosdude1 sierra patch tool. After reboot, boot hung. I could not get to boot into recovery volume either. I wonder if activation tool broke the changes made by sierra patch. I have Macbook late 2008 unibody and GMYLE Bluetooth Adapter Dongle, Ultra-Mini USB Broadcom BCM20702. Activation tool ran smoothly and dongle was fully supported.
