Your Issue:
I make a clean insatalation of Siera 10.12 and CAT gives me the report that continuity is working and nothing been changed.
I have a handoff option in system preferences from installation of Sierra.
If i install CAT with terminal with command sudo -a and then check system preferences I see that continuity is not compatible with bluetooth.
If I remove the dongle I have no bluetooth in Mac. it disappears from everywhere.
Original bluetooth card I removed before because CAT uses original bluetooth card instead of dongle.
Airport with iPhone and MacBook is working.
Actually the handoff is working too right now but very weird.
Actually Handoff works from iMac to my MacBook Pro 2013, but when I try to open from MacBook on iMac via Handoff iMac just open the blank window.
With iPhone I see iMac handoff on lockscreen but only blank screen open and nothing happens.
On iMac i don't see handoff from iPhone.
