I have successfully got CAT to work on macOS High Sierra.

I am using a MacBook Pro 15' Late 2011, with the upgraded CAX card, from the 2012 model.

It should be noted that it was a fresh install of High Sierra on a Samsung 850 Evo.

Initially I ran the tool, and it did not do anything, except add the "Allow Handoff between this Mac and your iCloud devices" checkbox.

I then -

Same setup with Late 2011 Macbook High Sierra 10.13.3 and iPhone 7s plus. Worked wonders! thanks.

OS 10.3.3 is not High Sierra. Perhaps you mean 10.13.3 ?

Can't speak for Rushil-Kisoon, but I'm now on High Sierra 10.13.4 and everything works fine still.

can someone confirm if CAT is working on 10.13.5?

MarekLg commented 6 years ago

On 10.13.5 CAT installation runs smoothly but MBP crashed on reboot. Could be because of Hackintosh though..

Yes, I’m sorry for the typo, it was initially 10.13.3.

I just ran it on 10.13.5 and all seems to be well. Continuity, handoff and airdrop seem to be functioning properly.

I then -

  • Signed out of iCloud
  • Rebooted
  • Signed into iCloud
  • Clicked the "Allow Handoff between this Mac and your iCloud devices" a couple of times to make sure it was actually on
  • Signed out and closed FaceTime.
  • Opened, and signed back in to FaceTime.
  • Then magically all Continuity features, with the exception of Auto-Unlock, began to work.

This worked for me in a Mid 2011 Mac Mini (Server) and 10.13.6

Thanks!
