Your Issue: Unable to get CAT to enable Continuity/Handoff features to work; Handoff box available in settings but Handoff/Continuity is not available; personal hotspot is available
Steps done to try to fix the issue: Run latest CAT beta (v2), reinstalled High Sierra and tried again.
Could somebody clarify - do I need to:
1) run CAT and
2) also then separately edit the SystemParametrs.plist and 4360.kext
Or can I just use CAT without manually editing the kext file? Or just manually edit the plist and kext without using CAT?
Could somebody post a brief idiot's guide to getting CAT to work with High Sierra on a MacBook Pro with WiFi card (not dongle)?
One problem I'm having is that trial and error is difficult to put right. The current CAT uninstall does not replace the modified files with backups and manually replacing backed up files creates an unstable system.
Have you tried these steps?
