Replaced AirPort card and WiFi/Bluetooth not working with/without CAT #458

Hello, I previously used CAT with some success with a dongle and then decided to replace my WiFi/BT card with the recommended BCM94331PCIEBT4CAX card from iFixit. Performed installation with no problems, started up fine, but now neither WiFi nor Bluetooth work now, with or without the CAT tool activated. WiFi searches for my network but cannot connect and prompts me to perform diagnostics, but I'm using ethernet so I know network is up. Bluetooth cannot connect, but works immediately with old dongle. Hardware is recognized in both cases. Same situation with or without CAT enabled. When enabled CAT both times, received this message: "IO80211Family.kext backup failed." Related?

System reports below. Is this a bad card? Software incompatibility? Many thanks for your help.

Steps done to try to fix the issue:

Update: yesterday started the computer in Diagnostic mode, which reported no trouble on the quick search, and then started the long search. I thought it was plugged in but here in the UK all outlets are switched, in this one wasn't switched on. The computer died and then when I restarted it in normal mode, both WiFi and Bluetooth were working. It went to sleep overnight and when I woke it up this morning, WiFi no longer worked, but Bluetooth seemed to be working. My keyboard would connect, but my mouse jumped between connected and not connected. Does this provide any clues to the issue? I know it's not strictly related to Continuity, but I'm posting because members of this community tend to replace Airport cards for the same reason I have, and so might have insights. Thanks!

Sorry to waste anyone's time, I'm pretty certain it's an antenna wiring problem, as WiFi reliably works with the screen tilted towards me and reliably cuts out with the screen tilted away. Closing this issue.
