Have you tried these steps?

Is there already an open topic for this issue?

Please include the following information.

Steps done to try to fix the issue: I have used different Versions of Barry K. Nathans micro patcher, had whitelisted the machine, but no positive result. On Catalina the tool is working. Can you do a change to get V 11.0 (Big Sur) working?

Not a programmer, but my understanding is that this is because since macOS versions for so long were numbered 10.X, a lot of software only checks the X, so on 11.0, it looks like it's version 0. The OS is supposed to be able to identify itself as 10.16 to avoid this issue, but I guess it's not a bulletproof solution.

I don't know if anyone's working on this anymore, but it sounds like it would be a simple edit to the macOS version check.

By the way, does it work on Catalina? I've got an old Mac that's patched to run Catalina that I'd love to use this on, but it can't upgrade to Big Sur without breaking most of the useful functionality.

I've gathered from order posts that it can work. Personally, I wasn't successful. To finds working solution, I ended up digging deep into the OpenCore & Clover Configurators.

Verifying Mac model reference... OK Verifying Mac board-id... OK Verifying OS X version... NOT OK. Your OS X version is too old to work with this hack. Aborting.

Anyway, when I attached the f switch, the installation was successful. eg.) sudo /Applications/Continuity \ Activation \ Tool.app/Contents/Resources/contitool.sh -f
