Bluetooth dropping connection issue #88

Closed smwoodward closed 9 years ago

I noticed this after Yosemite came out. I have the the GBU521 USB dongle, and it keeps dropping the 4.0 connection. I can watch the icon on the menu bar showing a connection then dropping it. I have a 15" 2008 Macbook pro. Any help would be great.

A bit more testing it seems to partly work. If I am doing something on my iPad or iPhone it will pop up the icon in the lower left to open it on my mac, but if I'm doing something on my Mac it will not show up on my iPad or iPhone.

I'm not sure if this is related to this other issue that I've noticed since moving to Yosemite. On Mavericks I used this same bluetooth receiver to use Knock to unlock and it worked perfectly. Since upgrading to Yosemite Knock on the Mac seems to loose it's connection very often. Bluetooth Explorer will crash when I try to view the status of bluetooth.
