At the moment the new https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:backlinks plugin doesn't seem to work in concert with include plugin. You don't seem to be able to exclude pages, and the page get rendered somewhat incorrectly. (backlinks to the page you include from instead of the included page).
I'm not entirely sure how to resolve. But i thought i'd log an issue here for future reference.
