We'll need to review whats going on with it tripping over in the build - .NET Standard. The code looks good. Its just failing for no obvious reason.

Could you clean up this. I believe there is a couple of pull requests this could become. Slightly confusing walking through it all.

Supposed to be closed and replaced by a better fix that I have somewhere.
