First, a bit of context. I'm a heavy Joplin that I use with a few Markdown editing enhancement plugins to ease my days and please my eyes. Nevertheless, VSCode^WCodium is my beloved editor, and I'd love to switch completely my note-taking and writing activities to it thanks to the great Joplin extension. Then, having an extension like yours bringing me the same editing comfort I have in Joplin, and close the circle for my target "Joplin as backend only" use case.

So giving it a try, the first issue I stumbled upon is that pattern matching is a bit loose, making preview formatting apply to URLs and code blocks and actually breaking them visually.
