• Consider uniting with me on the Dict implementation in https://github.com/montagejs/collections. It also has MarkMiller’s WeakMap shim, which I’ve found useful for making side tables for event descriptors.
• Consider switching to a license that a lawyer wrote. I wouldn’t be comfortable using this project with the WTFPL for a professional project.
• I would have retained once instead of onNext. It’s poetic.
• I would keep the lower-case convention for module names, like publishers and listener-helpers.
• Have you found much use for on(hash) or on(space-delimited)? On first blush, it looks like unnecessary complexity.

All my software is released under the WTFPL; sad to hear that doesn't work for ya. Good news is, you can do whatever you want with WTFPL code, including forking and re-licensing.
