Idea: How about combining this with the behavior of PaperWM? #6

I am currently using the PaperWM gnome extension and enjoy it very much. On the other hand the concept of FancyZones brings functionality that I was always missing. The combination of both concepts would be the most awesome experience I can imagine so far.

Side note: Did you watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLksV8krjsQ. The craft computing guy really misses FancyZones on linux and did not seem to know about your project.

Hey, thank you for opening this issue! With Tiling Shell I'm bringing Fancy Zones on Linux :partying_face:. Currently, the stable version of Linux PowerToys installs an old version of Tiling Shell, can't wait to support the newest one!
