Changing normal mode quick buttons does not change the behavior nor the display #4

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Menu -> preferences -> change options for normal mode quick button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The options display should update and the soft keyboard display & behavior 
should update. Instead, the option is remembered in the text box but no changes 
are made.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Vimtouch 1.1 on android 2.3.3 on a motorola droid 2

Please provide any additional information below.

I have this problem too. When you rerun the vimtouch, all configures in the 
text box about button will reset to default.
