Special Character can not display in Noto Sans #285

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Change the font used in Chrome to 'Noto Sans' (Here I use Tranditional 
Chinese)
2. When browsing website, sometime will happen.
3. Just like the attach file

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
In the picture I attached, at the right-top, there is 4 'X' in the circle, 
I Click the button, It linked to twitter/facebook/google plus/reddit,
so I guess there should be the sign of the websites.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Noto Sans CJK TC in Windows 8

Could you provide a URL for a page that has this problem? Noto CJK does not 
have characters for all of Unicode so this may be a browser or font 
specification issue.
