Random unkown error #557

Blender and OS versions

Blender 2.93.5 Windows 10 Pro 21H1 OS Build 19043.1288

Describe the bug

How to Reproduce

Pressed "G" Searched "Grass Valley, California", set the zoom to 15. Took the zoom to 18, Pressed "L", took the zoom to 20. When the images were done downloading Pressed "E". The plane along with the Google Maps image had been created. Selected from the GIS menu GIS -> Web geodata -> Get elevation (SRTM) -> Chose OpenTopography SRTM 30m. It was thinking for probably 2 minutes and gave the error code that I saved as an image. I did it again and it worked. I have no idea what happened.

Seems the Opentopography server did not respond in time (it can be busy or overloaded) . Maybe we can increase the timeout value here
