Fix osd.basic target #3

Hi,

Can you explain me how you use this over xpl ?

Hi Fritz. That's not fully implemented and I haven't done any test yet. It will be used with Kodi (And xPL plugin) to display notifications on a TV. I haven't time to continu the dev for the moment...

Hi,

OK.

While it is not finished, I will create a copy of the current info.json with osd.basic data to not lost them and remove osd related element in the real info.json file to be able to release a stable release of the plugin. When someone will have fully test and do doc about osd, We will include it back in the info.json of a stable release ;)

Hi all,

My opinion on this is to create a real kodi/xbmc plugin in future.

Could handle play/pause sound volume previous/next osd notification and .....

But it need someone to Dev it of course.

Maybe the sonos plugin could be a good start to adapt.

this is indeed true. But maybe osd could be used in other use cases ?

Great idea tikismoke! Fritz, look at this : http://www.xplproject.org.uk/wiki/Schema_-_OSD.html It can be used on a mini remote display too if you want...
