When I use spaceline-all-the-icons scrolling forward is very slow. If I hold down 'Ctrl-n' or 'arrow down' point moves one or two lines and then stops until I release the key, then it moves, the distance depending on how long I pressed 'arrow down'. Scrolling backwards do not show this behaviour.
I do not experience this behaviour if I disable spaceline-all-the-icons and use spaceline instead.
I tried to profile using M-x profiler-start and M-x profiler-report but didn't see anything immediately useful.
I noticed that I do not experience this in buffers that do not display the widget showing where in a buffer point currently is (at the right side of the mode-line but at the left of the clock).
