Problem while trying to configure git-stats and branch icon #81

Open FieryCod opened 6 years ago

FieryCod commented 6 years ago

Hello, @domtronn first of all thanks for the awesome package.

I got a problem with the proper configuration of git-stats and git branch icon. Here is how my configuration looks like:

;; Enable spaceline-all-the-icons and customize it
(use-package spaceline-all-the-icons
  :after spaceline
  :config
  (setq spaceline-all-the-icons-highlight-file-name t)
  (setq spaceline-all-the-icons-separator-type 'none)
  (spaceline-all-the-icons-theme)
  ;; (spaceline-all-the-icons-toggle-slim)
  (spaceline-all-the-icons--setup-git-ahead) ;; Enable # of commits ahead of upstream in git
  (spaceline-all-the-icons--setup-anzu)            ;; Enable anzu searching
  (spaceline-all-the-icons--setup-package-updates) ;; Enable package update indicator
  (spaceline-all-the-icons--setup-paradox) ;; Enable Paradox mode line
  (spaceline-all-the-icons--setup-neotree) ;; Enable Neotree mode line
  (spaceline-toggle-all-the-icons-git-status-on)
  (spaceline-toggle-all-the-icons-vc-icon-on)
  (spaceline-toggle-all-the-icons-mode-icon-on)
  (spaceline-toggle-all-the-icons-vc-status-on))

As you can see there is no branch icon beside master and git stats are not showing up. I'm also adding my .spacemacs in order to let you reproduce the bug. The same is both on develop and master branch of spacemacs.

For highlighting the changes I'm using diff-hl. I also tried to debug the segments but I got the message that everything is working fine. If you got those features working in your .spacemacs configuration could you please share it?

Thanks in advance for your help ;)

Hello, I have the same issue. I also tried on a clean init.el file with this configuration:

(use-package git-gutter
  :ensure t
  :init
  (global-git-gutter-mode +1))

(use-package all-the-icons
  :ensure t
  )

(use-package spaceline-config
  :ensure spaceline
  )

(use-package spaceline-all-the-icons
  :ensure t
  :after spaceline
  :config
  (spaceline-all-the-icons-theme)
  )

And I get this, without stats numbers and branch icon: image I'm using emacs 26.1.

Btw, great package!

I created a pull request that fixes this issue with two simple changes into a file. see here.

I'm having the same issue. No statistics and no git branch icon. The fix in https://github.com/domtronn/spaceline-all-the-icons.el/pull/98 makes the branch icon appear, but I don't see any statistics. Not even the icons for it.
