1 tbsp flour (I feel like there was more..probably 2)
2 tbsp butter
56g cream (quarter cup?)
2 cups chicken broth
1 can corn (341 ml)
1 tsp smoked paprika (I think we used 2+)
nice bread/bun/something as a base for garlic bread
Directions:
chop potatoes into 1/2 inch pieces
chop bacon into 1/2 inch pieces
finely chop jalapeno and leeks
cook the bacon in a bit of oil for 3-5 min
add jalapeno and leeks, cook another 1-2 min
add flour, most of the paprika, half the garlic, cook/stir another 30 sec
add can of corn (including liquid), potatoes, broth, salt and pepper and bring to a boil
cover and simmer for 14 minutes (longer if you want it to thicken up
add cream and cook/stir for another 2 minutes
serve, and sprinkle the remaining paprika over top
While that's going on, melt the butter and stir in the rest of the garlic puree. Halve your bread, spread the garlic butter, and broil for about 4 minutes.
