My setup does the same thing.
Iphone 2.2 / Siphon 2.0.5
user name: (my standard vonage user name)
password: ( a encrypted password I got from a encyptor using vonage password.)
Entered vonage config settings as previous post.
When I go to Siphon it says "Not acceptable here" on right.
Try and make call , it hangs up right after.
What is the working config ?
I am serving over here in the Middle east (Kuwait)
I have 3G service through Zain and Wi-Fi
Tried both.. same thing.
What is the correct siphon/vonage configuration?
My
IS it that it's blocked? (Assumtions from the error message)

esmithatty,
It works fine for me with Vonage. You need to have a softphone account.
All you need to enter is your username, password and server ip. leave
everything else
the way it is. no need to enter a proxy or even change the port #.
Only setting in Siphon you need to set are:
username: 12126555458
password:xxxxx
server:216.115.20.41 (also used sphone.vopr.vonage.net)
reg timeout:1800
proxy server:(blank)
enable nat: on
auth user name:(blank)
contact: (blank)
local port 5060
stun server (blank)
stun domain (blank)
keep alive interval 15
RTP port 8000 (doesn't seem to matter what you set this to it works. Mine is at
4000)
enable ICE on
wilsonbradley, Those setting will not work for you as it uses different ip and
domain
name for the main account(not a softphone account).
Setting for using main number on account (normally a phone attached to the
Vonage
supplied ATA) Note: You can not have both the ATA and a softphone connected at
the
same time using the same cridentials.
Siphon account settings:
Username:
Password:
Server = a.vonim.com:10000
Don't change nothing else!

Vonage customer support informed me today that Vonage won't work with Siphon.
Is
that correct?

If Vonage uses SIP protocol, it should be work.
You could be read the previous to know the settings to use.
Siphon should work with every SIP provider.
I don't have Vonage account, but if vonage company wants to contact me it's
possible.

Apparantly, that vonagenetworks page no longer works. I imagine Vonage must
have moved it. I am unable to produce my Encrypted Password. Does anyone know
of an alternative method to come up with it?
