crash on startup when using nat #194

siphon crashes for me on startup.

I run it, see the dialpad, and after a few seconds the dialpad disappears.
 No text is ever displayed.

The same config does work at my office, where there is no nat, so there is
nothing fundamently wrong with the app, my registration details etc.

I tried enabling detailed logging and looking at /var/mobile/Library/Siphon
but I see nothing in log.txt. I tried cp /dev/null log.txt, re-ran siphon
but still no log. I tried rm log.txt, re-ran siphon but no new log.txt is
created.

You described a crash during the startup, so the log file can't be create :-(
It's weird, if you disabled NAT option, is Siphon starting ?

I have tried both with and without NAT.

This behavior sounds just like issues 155 and 103. I suspect that it has
nothing to
do with NAT, just being on a different network. From everything I can tell, the
cause
of this problem has not been identified.

I have tried putting in just the IP address of my SIP service but this still
does not
work.

I have update to 2.0.8. But the crash is still on start up of siphon.
I have deactivated echo canceller and NAT.
My iPhone OS is 2.2 (iPhone 3G)
