No ringing in sleep mode #228

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Ipod Touch 2G went to sleep mode( Automaticly)and Manually
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

There is no ringing unless the ipod is being used. I can confirmed this is
a glitch unless the author took the feature out because it
was working fine on my older Ipod( version 2.06 or 2.07)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.08 on Ipod2G 2.2.1 OS

Please provide any additional information below.

Hope you can fix this issue. Thank You

Regards,
Luke

I uploaded a new version of Siphon
(http://code.google.com/p/siphon/downloads/list ).
This issue should be fixed, could you confirm this ?

I added a new switch in network settings to enable Keep Awake option.
By default this switch is disabled. When the keep awake feature is enabled, a
phone
is displayed in status bar

New features and bugs fixed are described here :

It takes a long time for siphon to connect to my voip sever. Do you know why?

It seems that siphon can only connect to my voip sever after it woke up from
sleep
or during sleep

I released a development version for iOS 4 and later. You have to add a new
source to cydia: http://svsip.free.fr/repository/cydia

However Apple authorizes/allows background task with TCP connection only.
If your SIP provider doesn't allow this kind of connection, you can't enable
background support.
