implementation of the "pause" key ( for entering password in the contact number) #241

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. dial a contact that have the pause sign (a comma) in it.
2. the call fails

What is the expected output?
I'd like to memorize my vocal inbox password so I don't have to type my
password everytime. And I'd like to call my inbox for free using Siphon.

What do you see instead?
message "call ended" immediately appears

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
os 2.2.1
baseband 2.28.
Siphon 2.0.8

Please provide any additional information below.

I understand your request, but SIP doesn't work like PSTN.
All the numbers after coma should be send by DTMF.

ok, thanks for your answer.
But ir works fine if I call my inbox using Siphon, and then dial *passowrd#.
Would it be possible to emulate DTMF, like the application iBeep does?
thanks

this feature does not seem to work. It recognizes that a comma should not be
dialed, or ignored, but does not end up dialing the numbers after the pause.
