writing to rootfs causes system crash with the branch block-mpage-bvecs-for-next #2

When being tested with the branch block-mpage-bvecs-for-next, the kernel crash immediately after writing some blocks to the root filesystem. Have seen this on a QEMU VM with ext4 root filesystem.
