Hi, I'm afraid that you may create the XML file to detect Dutch plates by yourself. So many samples are required for training process. Such as for Vietnamese plates XML, I used 2000 positive + 3000 negative samples. So for this time, I cannot help you. Cheers!
Hi Don, On the academic point of view, I think I can help Frankbonnet. If you send us Dutch plates samples so I can write an assignment for my students to work on it. I think we can collaborate to work on the project. Because I am a lecturer from University of Information Technology. I am interesting in international collaboration. My work email is: tuanna@uit.edu.vn
If you want to discuss more, please don't hesitate to contact me
Best regards,
Tuan

Dear Tuan,
Thanks for your reply. I would greatly benefit from that.
How many samples do you want me to provide you with? We host some websites for advertising cars, eg. www.autoxchange.nl or www.autodealers.nl. I could upload a large amount of images to a server and give you access to it. That should cover the positive images.
May I ask what University you represent?
Kind regards, Frank Bonnet

Hello,
Did you by any change create the XML file to detect regular plate sizes too? I want to test with Dutch plates.
Thanks!
