Looks good to me. I'll test it out for a little while and then merge it.

I'm not sure if you're using the term "key chord" properly. Typically key chords are sequences of keys you can type in order to get some action, like the which key bindings in Doom Emacs. Maybe we should find another term to use, but it's not a big deal.
