Sorry man, I was trying to merge at my main branch not yours lol. I'm using this layer modification about two months and it is kinda nice. I had some issues with ctrl release and did a quick fix yesterday and misclicked the branch to merge.

I don't like my implementation of checking the layers using the keyboard leds, but it was a quick workaround. If you wish I can do o proper pull request for the feature with a good description 😃
