Complete bed calibration not working correctly #238

Hi donovan6000, Octoprint Version 1.3.4 (master branch) on Pi 2 M33 Fio (1.21) with latest iMe-firmware ~1.25

Thanks for the great work you did with the iMe and M33!!!!!!

I'm facing issues with the "Complete bed calibration"....

Form the procedure it is working quite fine, but it doesn't remember the bed center value Z0. It is set kind of random to a value in between 2 and 5 mm in Z-direction after the calibration is finished. (tested out a few times).

If I'm doing the calibration manually step by step

  1. Calibrate bed center Z0
  2. Save Z as front left Z0
  3. ... everything is working quite well.

The Z-values in the corners (from my observation) depend on that Center-Z0 - after autocalibration with wrong Center Z0--> if I set the center Z0 manually (by using Calibrate bed center Z0) the Z0-values at the edges change also to "negative" values (the extruder is pressed firmly onto the printing surface).
