Summary

Unable to access the plugin settings. Messages shown:

This plugin is not compatible to OctoPrint versions 1.4.0 and above and the author has sadly stopped maintaining it.

This plugin has been abandoned by its maintainer and is looking for someone to adopt it.

Details

I haven't used my M3D for a while and I am using macOS since about 15 years now. Unfortunately the official app doesn't support macOS on 64 bit systems. In addition your M33-Linux tool is unable to get orientation information.

My M3D uses Firmware Version: 2016040402

So I tried the OctoPrint plugin. Which was my first attempt to use OctoPrint at all.

It seems to work at all:

Connecting to: /dev/cu.usbmodem2101
Changing monitoring state from "Offline" to "Opening serial port"
Connected to: Serial<id=0x107c4ec10, open=True>(port='/dev/cu.usbmodem2101', baudrate=115200, bytesize=8, parity='N', stopbits=1, timeout=10.0, xonxoff=False, rtscts=False, dsrdtr=False), starting monitor
Changing monitoring state from "Opening serial port" to "Connecting"
Send: N0 M110 N0*125
Recv: e1
Recv: wait
Send: N0 M110 N0*125
Changing monitoring state from "Connecting" to "Operational"

But then the print won't work. I can't even control the device manually.

In addition I'm unable to uncheck "Not using M3D" in the plugin's settings since I'm unable to access those settings.

Any help is appreciated!

No reaction so I guess there won't be happening anything.
