Error opening in IE8

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open site in IE8

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The corners are rounded but after a few seconds and with a js error

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
IE8 on Windows Vista Business 64bits

This appears to be a problem in prototype.js (which redefines javascript 
builtin types 
and so arguably is just asking for compatibility problems). Cannot possibly 
address 
this issue without access to a full working example.
