doom sync: Script was abruptly aborted, leaving Doom in an incomplete state! #7793

I confirm that...

Expected behavior

I changed the doom/init.el, expecting to change the configuration to my liking. Here were the changes made:

;;; init.el -*- lexical-binding: t; -*-

;; This file controls what Doom modules are enabled and what order they load
;; in. Remember to run 'doom sync' after modifying it!

;; NOTE Press 'SPC h d h' (or 'C-h d h' for non-vim users) to access Doom's
;; documentation. There you'll find a link to Doom's Module Index where all
;; of our modules are listed, including what flags they support.

;; NOTE Move your cursor over a module's name (or its flags) and press 'K' (or
;; 'C-c c k' for non-vim users) to view its documentation. This works on
;; flags as well (those symbols that start with a plus).
;;
;; Alternatively, press 'gd' (or 'C-c c d') on a module to browse its
;; directory (for easy access to its source code).

On running doom sync, I get

I have tried rebuilding the packages by running doom sync -b but there appears to be a problem in some package called ts-fold. I am reporting this error to inform the community about the error. For now, I would have to revert back to a "non-treesitter" setup.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Emacs
  2. C-f C-x
  3. Press enter after typing ~/.config/doom/config.el
  4. In config.el, enable tree-sitter by removing the comments
  5. Run doom sync to sync the changes made
  6. You might observe an error similar to the one given above.

I would like to add that removing the tree-sitter package did not help. The packages seem to be breaking still.

I'm at fault here. The issue is with git and that's most probably my own fault.
