About Quartus II 16.1 & 17.1 Compile resource difference #84

image @doonny , an Magical issue as the figure（default PipeCNN parameter）， the left is Quartus 16.1 and the right is 17.1. But after make fpga, the resource occupied is different，as 125% to 88%. I do Not know if quartus 17.1 update the layout strategy, does anyone knows?

This report is not accurate, please confirm with the report after P&R. Although 17.1 does better job than 16.1, but the difference is not that much in most case.

yes , U are right , it finally failed as lack of LAB
