As has become an unexpected tradition, May is "get projects out the door before hell breaks loose at WWDC".
As such, we have been discussing internally for some time to move OpenCore Legacy Patcher to a Package (PKG) based distribution to streamline updates without accounting for app specifics, as well as implement a Privileged Helper Tool to remove password prompts outside of initial installation.
Note that the PKG is for the installation of the app itself (and Privileged Helper Tool), and can be used either on a native or patched Mac. The PKG will not install any additional launch services or patch your Mac.
