You'd be best to file against Lilu as we're not the maintainers of that extension:
biho1 how did you make the changes in OCLP I too am having the same issue.

mount the OCLP EFI partition and then copy the newer liliu.kext 1.5.8 in the EFI/OC/KEXT folder
Found it, thank you. Did you need to perform a complete reinstall of MacOS Monterey with the updated EFI or can I just use a drive with an updated boot loader?

That was it, thanks again for all your help. Could not have done it without it.
Having the same issue with iMac9,1 after following this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=go6RTCHv4GA
@biho1 @PaulSke
Is it possible to provide a little bit more info on how to
mount the OCLP EFI partition and then copy the newer liliu.kext 1.5.8 in the EFI/OC/KEXT folder
?
My iMac was just printing "Lilu dev: @ failed to obtain model information, retrying..." over and over again, and now I shut it down.
Thanks 😊
Edit
I plugged my "Install macOS Monterey" usb key into my other mac to inspect the content with hope to find the EFI/OC/KEXT folder, but nothing yet.
I can layer this evening. Which version of OCLP are you using. I see they updated it to 1.5.8 in the 3.3. But I still had intermittent issues using that version

Thanks @PaulSke 🙏
The tutorial suggests using the "OpenCore Legacy Patcher 0.3.1 TUI". I'll try again with v3.3 in the meantime and see if I have any success 💪
yes, the latest version of OCLP 0.3.3 has lilu.kext 1.5.8, so it should work out of the box
greetings Thomas
