It took me several hours trying to figure-out why my Ryzentosh (AMd 3900X on X470 motherboard) wasn't sleeping. It seems that Corsair watercoolers prevent sleep on Mac while they are plugged into the internal USB port on the motherboard. Disconnecting it allowed Ryzentosh to sleep even without doing USBMap.kext
Several users online confirmed it when I started searching for it. I thought maybe you can add a note in the guide to let AMD users know that having a watercooler connected can break sleep on Mac.
