As the title suggests, macOS 12 now appears to be loading x86PlatformPlugin (by default) natively without the need for SSDT-PLUG/plugin-type=1 injection. This was tested and confirmed on Skylake and Comet Lake systems running macOS 12.3.1 and 12.4 beta. No difference in performance, system stability(sleep-wake) was seen.
Question is: Is there a possibility for users on macOS 12+ to be required to inject plugin-type=1 anymore? Since the whole point of the injection in the first place was to load XCPM for Intel based systems.
