Railsadmin for admin goodness #1

RailsAdmin is the new hotness in administration subsystems for Rails.

after you run bundle install, you can:

  1. http://localhost:3000/rails_admin
  2. email: admin@example.com
  3. password: password

And you'll see this below, where you can search and export goodness

So, I ran the migration and was able to get to the login page, but I can't login :( . . . I tried to reinstall but am at the same place. Could the HTTP authentication have something to do with this? This looks awesome and exactly what I need.

Ohh

rake db:seed

That'll create the Administrator record

So simple. This is awesome! Exactly what I wanted all in one package!!! Thanks Wo!

Just curious, what other "cool" things were you thinking?

You've hit on all the high points I think. You could notify parents when students get there or leave via SMS? You could upload a pic of a student to verify its them?

What else do you want to do? :)
