Self-explanatory. Running a 2020 M1 MacBook Air on 12.0.1.

I am aware of this, and unfortunately I'm not sure it's going to be fixable. If the project is built on a more modern Xcode version, this issue does not occur, but support breaks for OS X 10.4. So if you just download and build the project in, say, Xcode 8 or later, it should work. But no 10.4 support, of course.
